I don't know about you, but sometimes more times than I like to admit, I get too caught up in my life in Artesia.  I am not saying that I don't keep up with the news.  I do.  But I think "there is not much I can do for those who live outside of Artesia."  Well, that is what missions is all about.  There is power in being united towards a common goal.  Whether that goal is to be successful in business, to raise the kids, or to reach as far as we can as a Church family, together is always stronger.

Sunday morning we heard from missionary Shawn Sullivan and how God is using him to lead Mission283 to reach the people in war torn Ukraine.  There is a revival going on there as thousands are coming to know Jesus as Savior and churches are beginning everywhere.  As we support Shawn we have a part in reaching each and every Ukrainian.  That is why missions is so important.

Wednesday evening we will begin our Midweek Meals again and they are from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in our gym.   This is the perfect way to take a load off after a busy day, connect with others, and enjoy a delicious dinner together before our midweek activities.    If you are planning to attend please text MDWK to 68878 or click HERE and let us know how many you will be bringing.

Saturday we have our annual Tourney of Faith Golf Scramble.  If you have signed up be sure and show up and have a great time.  All the proceeds are used to help a needy family in our community.

Sunday we will have our coffee and donuts from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the foyer.  Afterwards we will have our worship service.  Invite someone to come with you.

Remember - There is great strength in being united together.

Serving together,
