Sunday Worship

Join us on Sunday at 10:30am for our Worship Service—and come a little early if you can for free coffee and donuts.

During your time in Artesia, we hope to provide a refreshing “get away” from the rigors of the FLETC campus, with opportunities to grow in your faith and enjoy occasional get-togethers for food and fun.

Text Updates

We know FLETC students have a demanding schedule, which can make it tough for us to communicate upcoming events or get a headcount when needed. The easiest way we stay in touch is through a simple text service. You’ll receive updates from us, but it’s not a group chat, so your phone won’t blow up with replies.

If you’d like to play basketball or pickleball in our gym, text BASKETBALL or PICKLEBALL to 68878, and we’ll let you know when the gym is open for FLETC students.

If you enjoy Game Nights, text GAMES to 68878 and we’ll invite you to a Friday or Saturday Dinner and Games with the Deans.

Throughout the year we also host a few special events like a FLETC Easter Lunch (text EASTER to 68878), a FLETC Dodgeball Tournament (text DODGEBALL to 68878), a FLETC Thanksgiving Lunch, and a FLETC Super Bowl Party.

Shuttle Bus

If you’re new to the FLETC campus, the FLETC shuttle bus leaves from the front of Building 20 (the Registration Building) by the parking lot at 10:00am every Sunday morning.

After our service, we provide a shuttle ride back to campus, so students don’t have to leave early or wait for the regular FLETC shuttle.

Introductions

My name is Larry Dean, and I serve as the Discipleship Pastor at Faith Baptist Church.

I attended Texas A&M and was part of the Corps of Cadets, hoping one day to become an Air Force pilot. But while I was a student, I surrendered my life to Jesus, and He led me down a very different path.

For the last 10 years here in Artesia, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know hundreds of FLETC students—welcoming them into our home, building friendships, and praying for them as they work hard to make it through the academy.

While you’re here in Artesia, we’d love to get to know you as well. FLETC students who complete the Contact Info Form below are entered into a monthly drawing for an Adobe Rose gift card.

Also, be sure to stop by the Welcome Center after the service for a free gift bag for first time guests.

We would love to get to know you so that we can better minister to you (and your family) while you live here in Artesia. Be sure to stop by the Welcome Center after a morning service to pick up a “Gift Bag” that we like to give to our special guests.

Each week you can find FLETC instructors and their families in many of our Faith Groups on Wednesday night, in Community Groups on Sunday night, in Discipleship Groups that meet at various and times and places during the week, and serving on our Security Team. Mom’s Life and Devoted are additional ministries for women that many of our FLETC families take part in. We look forward to meeting you.
