COLLEGE FOOTBALL @ THE DEANS
The Texas A&M Game will be on at 5pm Saturday, Sept 5, and another game will be on the back porch (with Cornhole and other games to play). The address is 1403 S 25th Street. BYO FOOD, we’ll provide the drinks and lets celebrate that football is back!
ARTESIA RECREATION CENTER
If you haven’t done so, drop by and check out the newest place in town to exercise. The 3 indoor courts (for basketball, volleyball and pickleball) and a walking/jogging track are free to the public. They have a great workout area and more.

Here’s where I’ll keep you updated on local opportunities to serve in the Artesia community. However, I also want to point out, Faith Baptist Church is a nonprofit organization, and there are several ways FLETC students can partner with us to better serve our community.
WEEKLY BUS MINISTRY
Just contact Jen Walker or Andy Singleton to find out ways you can assist in making sure kids in our community have a ride to church on Wednesday.ABLE MINSITRY
Interested in being a Buddy to a child with special needs? Help a child participate, feel included, and enjoy church on Sunday or Wednesday. Contact Andy or Jen for more information.
